On behalf of the Rosa Foundation-Africa, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the Special Aide to HE John Dramani Mahama, gave a five-month supply of sanitary pads to 622 freshmen at the Tamale Girls Senior High School.
The foundation’s sanitary pad program is designed to help young schoolgirls maintain better menstrual hygiene and lower their risk of contracting an infection. According to research, some girls drop out of school because they can’t get menstrual products.
In addition to stressing the significance of menstrual products for young girls’ education and how such donations will lessen the financial burden on families, Mrs. Mogtari and her family foundation have promised to support the 622 students until they complete their three-year program.

The students were additionally exhorted to maintain discipline, be diligent, and be well-prepared for Ghana and Africa’s future.
The Rosa Foundation-Africa was established to empower and support girls, attempting to provide for those who are unable to provide for themselves.
The foundation is currently donating sanitary products to senior high school girls and has furnished schools in the Upper West Region, Eastern Region, and Savanna Region over the years.
Mrs. Mogtari stated that the sanitary pad initiative is anticipated to have a positive impact on the health, education, and well-being of countless girls and women in Ghana.
The initiative is supported by movie producer and actress Kafui Danku, representatives of the Rosa Foundation-Africa, and school administration.
