Veteran music producer Hammer has shared a fascinating dream he had about the upcoming general election in 2024.

Former president John Dramani Mahama has been chosen by the National Democratic Congress, or NDC, to represent them in the election.

On the other hand, the NPP has yet to select the candidate who will ‘face off’ with John Mahama in the upcoming election.

Ten NPP luminaries have so far indicated that they will run for the position in the party’s upcoming primaries.

They include; Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, a former Trade Minister, Alan Kyerematen; Kwadwo Poku, an energery expert; Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Joe Ghartey; a former Minister of Food and Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto; a former General Secretary of the NPP, Kwabena Agyei Agyenpong; a former MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong; a former MP for Offin North, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku; a former Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko.

Assin Central MP Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and Former Trade Minister Alan Kyerematen appear to be the three candidates receiving the most attention.

Hammer has revealed that in his dream, the main presidential race was between Kennedy Agyapong and John Mahama, despite the fact that it appears that a sizable portion of the NPP is supporting Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Hammer claimed that Ken Agyapong was chosen as the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer in the dream.

“Just had the most interesting dream….presidential race was between hon Ken Agyapong and President Mahama,” his tweet read.

His tweet has since prompted responses from a huge number of people.

In a related news, a vote for the flagbearer candidates of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) was held in advance of the special delegates conference on August 26.

Kennedy Agyapong chose the top spot after the voting was completed in Accra today, July 26, 2023, and Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen chose the second spot.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the leading candidate and vice president of Ghana, chose the tenth position.
