The third edition of Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist Shatta Wale’s “Freedom Wave Concert 2023” has been announced.
He announced it on his Facebook page, warning Ghanaians to start getting ready because it would be an annual celebration.
“Get ready Ghana, this is not only for Shatta movement, but also for us all,” he said.
On Monday, December 25, 2023, the Concert is scheduled to take place at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra.
There are 40,000 seats available in the stadium.
However, Shatta Wale is confident that he will pack the 40,000-seat stadium on December 25, 2023.
Medikal is the only artist featured alongside Shatta Wale, according to the post.
Shatta Wale is renowned for fusing Western and African music to create enthralling choruses for music lovers. He is also well-known for the song “Already” from Beyoncé’s Black is King album, which featured Major Lazer.
He uses typical Ghanaian lyrics, which distinguish him from musicians from other African and Caribbean nations.
