Popular Ghanaian musician Patapaa Amisty has spit venom on organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) in his latest interview.

It seems Patapaa has still not gotten over the selection of his viral “One Corner” song as the 2018 VGMA’s Most Popular Song of the Year by the award’s organisers.

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, the controversial rapper revealed that because he was vehemently denied of the 2018 VGMA’s Most Popular Song of the Year, God has placed a curse on the award scheme.

According to him, Amakye Dede’s recent expose that he was forced to crown Kuami Eugene ‘King of Highlife’ is a clear example of the curse on upon the VGMA organisers.

Meanwhile, Patapaa in 2021 reaffirmed his decision to stay away from the organizers of the awards alter their strategy for honoring successful musicians from Charterhouse until that time.

In a related news, Patapaa has clarified his marital status as well as some of the problems that have plagued his marriage.

The musician, who goes by the stage name Justice Amoah, revealed during an interview with Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz that although he and Liha Miller are no longer together, they are still married in law.

He admitted that they had been apart for some time, and he added that he had spent the previous few months living in the United States, where he could relax and concentrate on his career.

Patapaa responded, “We are still cool,” when asked if they were still on speaking terms or had completely broken off their relationship.

She is not a problem for me. He continued by saying that he had genuine affection for his German-Turkish wife Lila and that, but for an interview she gave, in which she revealed too much about their relationship, they would still be living together.
