The Ghana Police Service has detained the prophetess who claimed to have prayed and caught a witch in Gomoa, in the Central Region.

Yesterday, reports of a purported witch’s capture at midnight by the prophetess and her prayer warriors during their customary midnight prayer spread like wildfire.

The preacher claims that while she and a few of her prayer warriors were in the middle of a prayer session, she saw something black followed by a Lord’s Angel pointing her in the right direction, where she then saw a bird that had changed into a human.

The preacher claimed in a media interview that after the bird changed into a human, she asked the woman about her mission but was met with silence. The witch finally spoke after the preacher had ordered water, prayed over it, and applied it to the woman.

The preacher further asserted that the alleged witch claimed she was given the mission of destroying the life of one person in the neighborhood, but that the prayers proved to be too powerful for her, causing her to stumble and fall.

Well, in a recent development, the Ghanaian police have detained and arrested the preacher for inciting dread and panic.

According to information from the police, her remarks about allegedly catching a witch could cause unrest in the nation hence her arrest.
