An individual who requested a ride and handed a package to be delivered to a destination to Yango, a driver who claims to work for a ride-hailing company, only for him to discover later that the package contained multiple rolls of marijuana and other items.

Yango has since shared his story on social media.

The Ghanaian Yango driver claimed that because the package bore a prescription and the pharmacy department’s stamp from the University of Ghana Medical Hospital, he initially believed it to be a hospital delivery of medication intended for a patient.

“Massage to the affected area … times daily,” the prescription on the package reads.

The Yango driver who recorded the package and posted it to social media said he was unable to immediately determine what was inside, other than to speculate that it might be “deep heat” cream or spray, which is used to treat strains, rheumatoid arthritis, and muscle and back pain.

When he arrived at his destination, it became evident to him that he had unknowingly driven through the town and carried illegal substances in his car.

The driver lamented that if police had pulled him over and discovered the package in his car, he might have run afoul of the law because he wouldn’t have known what to say and would have been shocked. The driver’s video was captioned: “Guys let’s all be extra careful.”

It’s interesting to note that while some Twitter users found the development amusing, others questioned the narrator’s decision to open a package he was supposed to deliver to someone, claiming it was unethical.

In other news, Austa XXO, a young Nigerian influencer, died after her boyfriend allegedly stabbed her while they were arguing.

The aforementioned boyfriend, who goes by the online handle Killaboigram, admitted to killing his girlfriend. In a number of posts, Killaboigram asserts that during a heated argument, he unintentionally stabbed Austa XXO.
