Three fuel tankers were partially burned in a fire that broke out at the Tema tank yard in the Greater Accra Region’s Kpone Katamanso Municipality’s industrial district.

The fire, whose cause has not yet been determined, happened on Friday.

According to reports, one of the vehicles, a 54,000-liter tanker, had fuel inside at the time of the accident.

In an interview with TV3 in Accra, D03 Ebenezer Yenzu, the Tema Regional Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), described the incident.

He explained how the contents of the car were saved by the firefighters.

“We received the call around 3:35 pm and our men from the Industrial Area station got here at 3:47 pm. They called for assistance and we had our team from Tema Metro, Tema Oil Refinery fire brigade and a tanker come in to assist,” he narrated.

The firefighters were praised for their excellent work by DO3 Yenzu, who also noted that their prompt action prevented what might have caused an explosion in the yard.

In a related news, a group of aggressive students from St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School are seen mistreating a commercial driver and his conductor in a video that has quickly gained popularity across numerous Instagram accounts.

The senior high school students attacked them as they were returning from the recently concluded inter-school sports competitions, according to the reports of the unfortunate incident.

Since the video went viral, grave questions have been raised. The video has sparked a social media frenzy.

These dishonest students, who were caught on camera, pulled the conductor out of the trotro and beat him mercilessly.

The trotro’s passengers screamed in horror and begged the “boys” to stop mistreating the conductor and go to their school, but they wouldn’t budge.obstinate Academy.
