    A final years Senior High student of the Opanin Senior High (OPASS) in the Eastern Region has been reportedly stabbed to death with several wounds.

    The final year student from OPASS who goes by the name Kevin Bonzy reportedly died after he tried to snatch a phone from his victim.

    Narrating the incident, according to UTV News reporter, Kevin Bonzy’s death does not come as a surprise to residents, colleague students and teachers from OPASS in the community dues to his notorious and stubbornness which led to his suspension from the school.

    Following his suspension from school, Kevn Bronzy continued with his bad behavior in the society as he started stealing, pickpocketting and snatching people’s phones including his own school teacher’s iPhone 14.

    The reporter adds that at the Akim Tafo district court and Koforidua circuit court, two different cases have been brought for the courts which involves Kevin Bonzy popularly known as Paa Kwasi.

    Meanwhile, according to initial police report, Paa Kwasi was wounded to death by his victim after he tried to snatch his phone which is contrary to earlier report he was killed by his attackers who tried to snatch his phone.

    Some good Samaritans saw him in pool of blood from the multiple wounds incurred on him by his victims. they rushed him to the Koforidua hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

    The Ghana Police Service has already launched an investigation into the Paa Kwasi’s death in the area.

    In a related news, at Assin Breku, the regional capital of Assin North in the Central Region, two people have been burned to death.

    On Thursday, July 13, 2023, an unidentified assailant attacked a 63-year-old woman in her room with a cutlass in Assin Breku.

    After learning about the incident, the town’s youth started looking for the suspects.

    The angry mob later found two suspects in a nearby bush and detained them there. They were thought to be responsible for the woman’s attack.

    Even the presence of the police was ineffective in stopping the perpetrators.
