MzBel is now a mother of two, but she is still not married yet the singer has been open about the status of her relationship.

The 43-year-old Ghanaian singer gave birth to her second child just some few days ago. It follows after she shocked fans with pregnancy photos published on social media. MzBel also showed off her heavy ring finger when announcing her pregnancy.

The ’16 Years’ hitmaker gave birth to her second child a few days ago, on June 25, 2023, she shared a video of her cesarean birth and wrote: For to us a child is born, to us @baby_ohemaa1 is given, and the government will be on her shoulders… Forever grateful“.

During an appearance on the United Showbiz Show over the weekend, MzBel revealed that she is unmarried. However, the singer explained that she went through traditional marriage rites.

According to the mother of two, she chose to keep the ceremony private, not public. “I am engaged, but I am not married. The type of engagement I had was not open to the public. It was private,” she said.

In a related news, Mzbel has said she is 100% National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporter throughout her entire life.

Speaking in an interview during last week Saturday’s episode of United Showbiz with MzGee, Mzbel said she grew up in James Town community where everyone supports NDC, so it has been NDC she supported all her life.

According to her, even if NDC breaks her heart she will still support the party. She also added for these years she has supported the party, she never been given a position when the party was in power.

She further added that she will never support any other party apart from the NDC no what happens.

Ask whether she wanted a position in the party but got snubbed, Mzbel replied that she can never work for the government.

Speaking on attacks she received when she first campaigned publicly for the NDC, she noted that she saw as strange but now she understands the game so in the next elections she knows what to do to still campaign for the largest opposition party.
