Private legal practitioner and former police officer, Alexander Amoako Twum Barimah has said the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia can never be a better option to replace President Akufo-Addo.

According to Twum Barimah, Bawumia is the worst version of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Mr. Twum Barimah during a panel discussion on UTV reacted to Dr. Bawumia’s recent comments that he sacrificed his political career when others were not ready to defend the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in court.

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia declared that he had made enough sacrifices for the party.

He feels that he must be given the chance to lead the party in the general elections of 2024.

He believes he is the most qualified person to lead the party to victory in 2024.

However, the former police officer called the Vice President out for misleading the public to believing he did well in defending his party in court.

Mr. Twum-Barimah said has right to use that as an opportunity to win the votes of NPP delegates because as a matter of fact he flopped in court and again he is part of the current Akufo-Addo administration who have led Ghana back to IMF after promising they would never go for any financial aid.

He added Dr. Bawumia hasn’t been able to bring up any good policy to help the country’s economy grow.

To him, Dr. Bawumia is just worst as President Akufo-Addo.

In a related news, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has compared himself to a seed that has the potential to grow after being planted by former President John Agyekum Kufuor.

The fact that Dr. Bawumia’s political godfather is the former President is not a secret, and he acknowledges the invaluable advice and leadership of the man who has repeatedly and outspokenly identified the vice president as his son.
