    The Chairman of the Asokwa Constituency of the NPP, Rev. Ofosu Nkrumah, has declared his unwavering support for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the party’s nominee for president in the upcoming primary elections.

    Rev. Ofosu Nkrumah praised Dr. Bawumia for honoring the Asokwa Constituency in the Ashanti Region by opening his office out of the 47 constituencies in Ashanti Region.

    According to the NPP Chairman of the Asokwa constituency, it has come to his notice one of the Presidential candidate is parading over the country and claiming that Asokwa is his stronghold.

    He noted that Asokwa constituency doesn’t belong to anybody except Dr. Bawumia, who has opened his office in the place.

    “I hear some people say Asokwa belongs to them so they will determine the flagbearer. But we the people and delegates know we want Dr Bawumia. He has come home. We will vote for him on November 4,” he said.

    Rev. Ofosu Nkrumah went to promise the Vice President of his full support, urging his delegates to do same in order to reciprocate the honor done them by Dr. Bawumia.

    He also assured the Vice President that he will have more votes in Asokwa constituency than any other constituencies across the country.

    Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, has assured Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the unwavering support of party members in his district at the upcoming NPP conference.

    Dr. Opoku Prempeh argued in favor of the vice president during a meeting of NPP delegates in the constituency with Dr. Bawumia on Thursday, July 6 at the Ash Town Apostolic Church.

    He said the vice president’s sterling qualities, experience, fierce loyalty, and sacrifices for the party make him the party’s best foot going into the 2024 elections.
