Stonebwoy, also known as Livingstone Etse Satekla, recently expressed his excitement about the prospect of working on stage and in the studio with his longtime rival, Shatta Wale.

The dancehall superstar recently discussed the possibility of collaborating with Shatta Wale in an interview, stressing the significance of timing in such a venture. The likelihood of negotiations being required to complete their joint project was humorously acknowledged by Stonebwoy.

Stonebwoy expressed his sincere hope that he and Shatta Wale would put their past disagreements aside and start a creative project together while promoting his most recent album, “5TH Dimension.”

The Everlasting crooner emphasized the potential influence their collaboration could have on the music scene, recognizing their importance as Ghana’s two most influential musicians.

With a smile, ‘Into The Future’ hitmaker remarked, “Negotiations are always necessary, especially when it comes to creating high-quality music videos. So, for this collaboration, we might have to argue for about an hour before making it happen.”

After a widely reported altercation at the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) four years ago, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale made amends.

Stonebwoy brandished a gun during the incident, which led to their arrest and subsequent legal actions.

In related news, he has stated unequivocally that he is no longer motivated to guide aspiring musicians.

In an interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Property FM, Stonebwoy stated that his experiences with ingratitude have made him more circumspect.

He claims that because of the past acts of ingratitude, he no longer has the “vim” to support upcoming musicians.

“It goes on constantly and I can mention a lot of names right now but we all saw what happened and all of that so there’s a huge issue with our system,”

Because of that, there are so many things and investments that can go wrong coupled with too much stuff that can make you lose vim.

When something makes you lose vim and to be able to do it again you have to be careful to strategize but I’m not afraid at all and I’ll always continue to help people,” he stated.
