    A student from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has reportedly attempted suicide at the Brunei Complex, according to recent news reported by InsightNewsgh.com.

    He was successfully rescued thanks to quick response from authorities and other students, and his condition is stable right now.

    The precise reason or cause of the KNUST student’s suicide attempt is still unknown at this time.

    The incident has sparked worries about the campus’s student population’s mental health and wellbeing.

    Netizens online have urged university representatives and counseling services to support the student and look into the incident’s circumstances.

    In a latest update to this story, a sad note left by the KNUST student who attempted to end his own life has popped up on social media.

    It is understood that the Level 200 KNUST student was going through depression and as a result he decided to commit suicide as the only solution to the problem he was facing.

    In the suicide note, the Student whose name is Kwadwo Asare Konadu Gyamfi, medical student from the KNUST said he reached to friends, some famous Ghanaian celebrities for help bit most of them didn’t pay attention to him.

    He singled out Pizzaman and some few friends who showed support and encouraged him not to end his life, however, he insisted on committing suicide and had already made plans months before the day.

    His last wish was that depression would be more serious especially amongst the youth.

    Meanwhile, in connection with the brutal murder of Lance Corporal Calystus Amoah during a bullion van robbery at the Star Oil Filling Station in Ablekuma Fanmilk, the Kansehie District Court remanded two individuals into police custody.

    Rashid Abdul and Benjamin Ojogbe, the suspects, have been accused of plotting and committing murder.
