The song “Try Me” by Sarkodie has been taken down from Apple Music, but the Ghanaian musician hasn’t done anything wrong.
On Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 1:4am, the witty Ghanaian tweeted a link to the song that was posted on his YouTube channel.
He wrote the song in response to Yvonne Nelson’s book, “I Am Not Yvonne,” which was published. In the book, Yvonne criticized the Ghanaian rapper for getting her pregnant and failing to accept responsibility when he advised her to have the baby aborted.
The song used to be on Apple Music and Spotify, but those streaming services have since taken it down.
The producer of Sarkodie’s “Try Me,” MOG Beatz, has come forward to address the reports regarding the song’s disappearance in a post shared on his Twitter page.
In his tweet, he explained that shortly after the song’s release on Apple Music and Spotify, someone uploaded the song in place of its original version, adding that the imposter was profiting greatly from his misdeed.
He added that the matter has caught the attention of Sarkodie’s team, and the Sarkcess team is working to find a solution.

Relatively, despite the recent tension between them as a result of the revelation in Yvonne’s book, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,” where she disclosed having an abortion for Sarkodie in 2010, artist manager Mr. Logic claims that actress Yvonne Nelson and rapper Sarkodie are still very much in love.
Mr. Logic shared his thoughts during his appearance on UTV, saying, “I can tell you with certainty that Yvonne Nelson still harbors strong feelings for Sarkodie. This was evident in how she referred to Sarkodie as Michael when she retaliated after he released his song ‘Try Me’.”
