Nigerian singer Iyanya decided to open up and share his side of the story after Sarkodie’s response song, “Try Me,” to Yvonne Nelson’s moving memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,” was released.
Iyanya and well-known actress Tonto Dikeh were implicated in a heartbreaking account of infidelity in Yvonne Nelson’s autobiography, which shed light on their previous union.
The actress opened up about her painful affair with Iyanya in her autobiography; he even went so far as to get her initials tattooed on his wrist.

The singer refused to respond to the accusations despite promising to do so until Sarkodie, who is also mentioned in Yvonne Nelson’s memoir, answered with his track.
Some people have criticized Sarkodie’s song “Try Me” for making chauvinistic and insulting remarks about Yvonne Nelson.
He finally found his voice in response to the controversy over Sarkodie’s counter-track, and he took to Twitter to make a hint about a potential soundtrack.
