The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) claims that a level 300 student committed suicide in her dorm room.
One of the residents of Bomso’s Ultimate Hostel is reportedly the student who is majoring in real estate.
The source claims that she sent her friends a message saying, “I QUIT,” but by the time she arrived at her hostel, she had already committed suicide.

It said that because her door was locked, other hostel guests had to break down the door to get to her before it was too late.
To move the dead body to the morgue, it was necessary to call the police to the scene of the crime.

In related news, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, two people died and three others were injured in a terrible collision involving a car and an SUV.
According to Lance Cpl. Nick Pye, the collision happened in Pickens County around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.
According to Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley, Alberta Oduraa Quartey, 23, a KNUST alumna and Telecommunication Engineer, and Abena Gyamfua, 31, both Clemson residents, tragically died from blunt force trauma.
When a 2021 Jeep SUV traveling north collided with a 2006 BMW sedan traveling south on S.C. 11 close to the intersection with Elizabeth Drive, Quartey and Gyamfua were passengers.
According to Pye, the SUV’s driver, along with the driver and another passenger in the vehicle, were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. They did not provide any additional updates on their health.
There is still no information on whether the crash participants were wearing seat belts.
The Highway Patrol is currently looking into what caused the collision, and no other information about its circumstances has been made public.
According to Clemson University, Quartey and Gyamfua are both Ghanaian graduate students, WYFF reported.
