    Only God knows when the brouhaha surrounding the founder and leader of the Perez Chapel International, Archbishop Charles Agyinasare and Nogokpo chiefs over his comments made some few weeks ago that the small town was the “demonic headquarters in the Volta Region.”

    The issue instantly became a national topic leading to the chiefs of Nogokpo demanding the appearance of the popular man of God before them within a 14-days ultimatum or face the wrath of the gods.

    Well, the 14-days ultimatum which was given by the Nogokpo chiefs expired on Friday, June 16, 2023 and Archbishop Agyinasare has neither reported himself nor spoken about it.

    Bishop Agyinasare who traveled to the United States to meet with some government officials from President Biden’s administration returned and preached in his church last Sunday.

    During his preaching, the Archbishop made some bold statements that those who pour libation invoking evil forces to curse him are doing so at the expense of their own lives and families because he’s a child of God.

    “The blessing of Abrahm, ‘I will make your name great so that you can be a blessing.’ And take the verse three, it says ‘and I will bless anybody who blesses you and curse anyone that curses you.’

    “Once I become a Christian, you make a mistake if you curse me. What is a curse? A curse is an invocation of spiritual forces to do you harm. So, if God says anybody who curses you, he will curse. Then anybody who pours libations and mentions your name, invoking spiritual forces against you.”

    “What that person is doing is that they are activating a spiritual law, against themselves and their families… if they take a calabash filled with palm wine or a glass filled with schnapps or ‘akpeteshi,’ once they pour it and call your name, they have open a spiritual portal to fight them.

    “If the world knew who we are and what we have once we become Christians..you don’t joke with a child of God,” he added.

    Well, a snippet of his preaching has found it way onto social media and as usual people are tagging Nogokpo again as the main target for such message.

    Surprisingly, many online portals are claiming the Bishop Agyin Asare is subtly responding to the chiefs of Nogokpo in his latest message.

    Check out some sensational headlines they captioned his message;

    According to them, Bishop Agyinasare was responding to the 14-days ultimatum and the threats by the Nogokpo chiefs to deal with him spiritually for failing to honour their invitation.

    I am not surprised some people are thinking the Archbishop was referring to the people of Nogokpo in his message again because of the tension which is already at hand.

    Personally, I think the man of God message meant harmless but people will always find trouble for you with what you say especially when there’s an ongoing saga which involves two actors.

    Do you think Bishop Agyin Asare was referring the Nogokpo chiefs or it is just the assumption of the masses?
