Ghanaian musician and social commentator Kwame A Plus born Kwame Asare Obeng has described media personality, broadcast journalist and public speaker, Kwami Sefa Kayi also known as Chairman General as a bad friend who doesn’t appreciate and value friendship.

In a Facebook post, Kwame A Plus said the host of Peace FM’s morning show popularly known as “Kokrokoo” is a “very bad friend who chooses political favours over brothers”.

In addition, A Plus said Kwami Sefa Kayi is that type of person who throw friends under the bus just to please political friends for favors.

In a different scenerio, A Plus however prayed that, God will open the eyes of the media personality oneday to realize and understand that, such treatment to friends is not a good practice.

He further indicated that, he is not afraid to speak his mind to the multiple award-winning journalist for the practices he thinks is not a right for him to continue do.

“Happy birthday Chairman General. Though you are a very bad friend who will choose favours over brothers anyday, I still wish you a long life in good health” part of his post reads.

In 1996, Kwami Sefa Kayi was the first presenter to join Radio Gold, a new radio station that was just being set up. He made such an impact that when Peace FM needed a new host for their flagship Akan morning show, Kwami seemed a natural choice despite being an English language presenter up until this moment.

Since then, Kwami Sefa Kayi has become an impossible to ignore fixture in Ghana’s media landscape, with his voice in the homes, offices and cars of millions of Ghanaian both home and abroad every morning. His show is the most coveted spot on radio and serves as the proverbial public square for the Ghanaian political class and commentators.

“Happy birthday Chairman General. Though you are a very bad friend who will choose favours over brothers anyday, I still wish you a long life in good health. I wish one day God will open your eyes to see that the worse thing you can ever do is to throw your ordinary friends under the bus just to please political friends for favors. I still love you. I don’t get angry. I only speak my mind without fear”.
