3 Points Career Consult is a career consulting company that seeks to leverage technology to create a virtually integrated platform to assist and support law students with tutors, coaches, mentors, counselling, study materials, and even internship `opportunities while guiding them through their legal career paths.

Every year, tens of thousands of people apply to universities in Ghana to pursue a career in Law. Only a few gain admission and thousands who have completed their LLB write an entrance exam to make it to the Ghana School of Law, yet only a handful are cut. Several other people get admitted to the Ghana School of Law and struggle for years to pass out. There seems to be a real problem faced by people who pursue a career in Law. We believe this problem needs to be solved from the onset at the point where a person has generated an interest in Law.

Career Fairs have been organized many times for several professions. Most often, Career Fairs are organized for students in the universities offering particular courses. The 3 Points Career Consult Law Career Fair & Education Fair is the first of its kind to be organized for the general Ghanaian public and not only law students. Several people who are interested in pursuing an academic and professional career in Law do not have access to detailed information about the processes and what it takes to realize that ambition. Career fairs are organized mostly for students who are enrolled in universities already reading LLB or already in the Ghana School of Law, leaving the general public clueless about the career path and what it takes to attain it

On the 29th of June 2023, which happens to be a public holiday, 3 Point Career Consult, is set to host a Legal Career Fair. This event is for both current law students, graduates as well as the general public precisely those who are interested in pursuing a legal career.

The event is scheduled to take place at the GNAT Hall in Adabraka, Accra, and will feature distinguished speakers, including the President of the Ghana Bar Association, Yaw Boafo, and Deputy Minister for Justice and Attorney General, Alfred Tuah Yeboah.

Norman Fiifi Williams, Esq., Dr Osei Bonsu Dickson, Esq., Gertrude Adwoa Ohene-Asienim and Richard Nunekpeku, Esq. and Joe Antah Esq. will sit on a panel for discussions on the theme “Building a Successful Career in law”.

The event’s primary objective is to provide attendees with information on admission, intake, and studies from various law schools both within and outside Ghana. As a result, students and graduates will be exposed to the first-hand experiences of alumni, one-on-one counselling, school matching services, and a wide range of career options available to them.

Participants will have the opportunity to network with legal professionals, share experiences and learn about various career paths within the legal profession.

Presentations from representatives of different law schools will provide attendees with in-depth information about admission requirements, courses offered, and opportunities available for graduates. Experienced legal alumni will also be available to provide attendees with career advice, and insights, and share their experiences.

Attendees will have access to one-on-one counseling and school matching services to discuss their academic qualifications and interests with representatives from different law schools.

This is a free event for individual attendees. Final year students in Senior high schools as well as SHS graduates are encouraged to attend in their numbers. Postgrads interested in law have this great opportunity to get first hand knowledge and information from this event.

Law firms, universities, and institutions that offer any form of legal education and training are encouraged to support and book a slot to enable them interact with attendees.
