Ameyaw Anas Anas has hinted that he will soon release a brand-new, explosive documentary that has the potential to upend Ghana before the 2024 elections.
The renowned undercover journalist claims that his upcoming documentary, which is expected to have a significant impact on politics, will primarily focus on a few politicians in the nation.
Anas said he is putting a lot of effort into the most recent investigative piece to make sure all possible questions are addressed before it is released in an interview with DW Africa.
“The work that I am doing now might be the last before we get into the elections. But already the signs are very clear and I can tell you that the foundation would be shaken once again.
“There are a couple of international ones that are about to be released. But this one talking to you as a Ghanaian, I mean the foundation of Ghana would be shaken,” Anas said in the interview.
After losing a defamation lawsuit he brought against Kennedy Agyapong, a member of parliament for Assin Central, Anas recently came under fire. The presiding judge of the Accra High Court issued a ruling on that specific case and labeled Anas’ method of investigation “investigative terrorism,” adding that Agyapong had a good reason to label him a thief and extortionist.
Additionally, Charles Adu Boahen, the then-Minister of State for Finance, was named in his “Galamsey Economy” documentary, which led to his dismissal.
Anas was charged with trapping the deputy minister, as is characteristic of all of his exposes. Hopefully, the upcoming documentary will address all of your concerns.
