Celebrated Ghanaian actress and film producer, Yvonne Nelson has dropped some chilling exposure in her latest book.
The book, titled “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,” was launched on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Peduase Valley Resort. Many industry players, friends and the media were there to support her.
A portion of the book from Chapter eight has attracted the attention of many Ghanaians.
In this chapter, Yvonne Nelson claimed that she became pregnant with a Tema-based rapper in 2010.
According to her, the unknown man would later become one of Ghana’s biggest musicians, but, at the time, his success was not guaranteed. She said rapper was not prepared for a child.
Following this, some Netizens are tagging Sarkodie as the Tema-based rapper who got Yvonne Nelson pregnant and he told her to get rid of it.
Although the actress didn’t mention the rapper’s name, but only gave a hint.
Meanwhile, there are a lot rappers from Tema but some Ghanaians have singled out Sarkodie because he is the most popular and successful rapper from that area.
Relatively, a video of the Ghanaian rapper Medikal paying GH100,000 for the book of the actress and author Yvonne Nelson has gone viral on social media.
Medikal, who was completely in black and wearing a Kente sash around his neck, placed a bid of GH100,000 to purchase a copy of Yvonne Nelson’s recently published book.
As he took his seat and announced the price, the audience cheered while the event’s master of ceremonies, Ghanaian actress Naa Ashorkor, confirmed the figure.
Many people questioned Medikal’s decision to pay such a high price for the book and wondered if he would even read it.
Other social media users made suggestions that he was swaggering at the book launch and that, based on past behavior, he would not purchase the book at that price.
