Efia Odo, a former actress from Ghana who is now a singer, has boldly claimed that she is the “missing link” in the evolution of Ghanaian music.
She asserts that she is the best person for the job because Ghana needs someone who can bring a new and distinctive perspective to the sector.
In a recent interview on “Stripped” with Sika Osei, Efia Odo said that despite Ghanaians’ propensity to be resistant to change, her new musical endeavor is exactly what the sector needs to flourish.
She expressed her opinion that a small group of people are currently driving the development of the Ghanaian music industry, and she sees herself as the missing link.
“Ghanaians don’t readily embrace change or new things, but it’s time for something new because where is our industry right now?” she said.
