Efia Odo, a former actress from Ghana who is now a singer, has boldly claimed that she is the “missing link” in the evolution of Ghanaian music.

She asserts that she is the best person for the job because Ghana needs someone who can bring a new and distinctive perspective to the sector.

In a recent interview on “Stripped” with Sika Osei, Efia Odo said that despite Ghanaians’ propensity to be resistant to change, her new musical endeavor is exactly what the sector needs to flourish.

She expressed her opinion that a small group of people are currently driving the development of the Ghanaian music industry, and she sees herself as the missing link.

“Ghanaians don’t readily embrace change or new things, but it’s time for something new because where is our industry right now?” she said.

She fervently believes that her distinct approach can have a profound effect on Ghanaian music and help it gain recognition on a global scale.

The rapper affirms, “Yes,” when asked by Sika Osei if Efia Odo was explicitly saying that she is the missing link, “I am.”

She added that she sees herself as the missing piece in both female artists in general and Ghanaian female rap.

Efia Odo thinks that her contributions to the music scene in Ghana offer a novel viewpoint that hasn’t been experienced before.

Efia Odo hopes to make a name for herself in the Ghanaian music scene by bringing a distinctive flavor that will enthrall listeners and take the nation’s music to new heights.
