Deputy Communications Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Owusu Bempah has expressed a deep worry for Ghanaians over former president John Mahama.
According to him, John Dramani Mahama will cause Ghanaians more pain if he is voted into power again in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Speaking in an interview on TV3 Newday morning show, Ernest Owusu Bempah pointed out that he gets scary anytime he sees the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer talking about coming back to power again.
To him, the former president has nothing good to offer Ghanaians anymore haven’t performed miserably during his tenure from 2012-2016.
The NPP communicator said Mahama run a reckless government which saw the country suffered a period of nationwide ‘DUMSOR.’
According to him, his uncle died of heart attack under Mahama’s incompetent government.
“Anytime I wake up and I see Mahama talking about coming back I am scared. I don’t even know the right words to use. Any developed country will not take this man serious to come back and lead this country again because his track records are there. “ Owusu Bempah fumed.

In other political news, Alan Kyeremanten, the flagbearer candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has stated that if elected president of Ghana, he will lead an inclusive administration.
In the event that he leads the NPP and Ghana, the former trade and industry minister declared that he will respect Ghanaians.
In a post on social media, Mr. Alan Kyeremanten said: “I will run a government by the people, for the people, and of the people.”
In addition, a group of market queens selected Alan Kyeremanten’s flagbearer nomination papers.
