Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the flagbearer candidate for the New Patriotic Party, has given notice that he won’t withdraw from the presidential primary process at any point.

The independent lawmaker claims that he is not working for any candidate and that he plans to see the election through to the end.

When he received his nomination forms at his Kencity Office, he said this.

His campaign manager, Mr. Kwame Owusu, delivered the forms to him in the company of a few prominent campaign supporters.

At a brief ceremony where he was presented with the forms, Mr. Agyapong thanked the team for carrying out his instructions.

He stated that any rumors regarding whether he was running for office while employed should be put to rest as a result of the selection of the nomination forms.

Kennedy Agyapong claimed in a recent interview that he stands out from the competition due to his success as a businessman and an employer.

The unconventional politician claimed that the majority of the other candidates depend on government handouts while on a campaign stop in Asawase, in the Ashanti Region.

In contrast to his rivals who rely solely on the government, he claimed to have employed over 7,000 Ghanaians.

“One day we went to Odotobri, and a young man came to me with his certificates. He had a Master’s Degree in Finance, and for eight years, he was unemployed, while my kids have completed school and have companies negotiating salaries with them. Despite my influence, I am unable to provide jobs for the youth of this country.

Kennedy Agyapong, who debunked claims that he is not a candidate for president, highlighted his dedication to and accomplishments for the NPP, saying that a candidate for president should be someone who creates jobs for the country’s teeming youth rather than someone who dresses fancy and speaks fluent English.
