Akuapem Poloo, an actress and social media influencer who goes by Rosemond Brown in private, has apologized to Nana Ama McBrown for an incident that happened in 2019.
Recall that Poloo celebrated McBrown’s recognition by American rapper Cardi B by throwing shade at her in a video.
When Cardi B first arrived in Accra in December 2019, she expressed interest in Poloo and even referred to her as her twin after the two of them participated in a dance competition.
After meeting Cardi B, Poloo took aim at McBrown in a video, saying that her senior colleague had declined to take a picture with her.
But after meeting McBrown at a public event, Poloo has asked for forgiveness almost four years later.
McBrown is seen sitting on a couch with Poloo kneeling in front of her in a video that was discovered on GH Kwaku’s Instagram page.
After a brief exchange, McBrown shook Poloo’s hand and motioned for her to stand.
Many online observers have praised the two of them in response to Akuapem Poloo’s apology to McBrown and the latter’s response.

In a related news, Akuapem Poloo is blaming some ladies for what she considers to be cheap sex.
According to her, “now some of the Ghanaian guys, immediately they have sex with you, they won’t even support you again, they think they’ve gotten what they want, they’ll shower you with everything just to have sex with you and leave you afterward,” he said on Tuesday, May 6.
Speaking on Joy Prime, the socialite added, “most Ghanaian girls have also made sex cheap.”
Since converting to Islam, the 34-year-old mother has not engaged in any sexual activity with her partner.
Poloo stated that her heartfelt desire is to have another child, but she does not want to do so outside of marriage.
“Since I committed we’re not having any sexual intimacy,” she said.
