Ras Nene, a skit creator and actor in Kumawood, recently opened up about losing his daughter earlier this year.
He admitted to still grieving in an interview with entertainment blogger Zionfelix, but that he has come to terms with the loss and is now trying to move on with his life.
He said that losing a child is an unfathomable tragedy and that it’s critical to have a support network to help one through the grieving process.
Ras Nene admitted that playing with other children or posing for photos with the children of his fans tends to bring to mind the toddler’s tragic passing.
Ras Nene said that despite the excruciating pain of losing his daughter, he remains strong because he knows that God has His own plans.
This year’s the actor from Kumawood lost his daughter in February. The infant passed away on February 28, 2023, a Tuesday. He has kept the death’s cause and circumstances very private.
On March 1st, the young child was laid to rest in front of family, friends, and some actors, including Shifo and Gye Nyame.
Videos posted by friends on Tiktok depict the solemn ceremony, in which her tiny coffin was lowered into a grave alongside mourners sobbing uncontrollably.
