Alhaji ABA Fuseini, a member of parliament for the Sagnarigu Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has spoken out after losing the party’s recent parliamentary primaries.
He praised the competitor who had defeated him, Atta Issah referring to him as his son.
The MP thanked the chiefs and residents of Sagnarigu for their support during the previous three terms he served as MP in a message posted on Facebook.
He thanked Atta Issah, the victor, for assuming the baton in his place.
ABA Fuseini also expressed his gratitude to John Mahama, the National Democratic Congress’s chosen flagbearer, who triumphed with 98.9% of the vote.

I give all thanks and praises to Almighty Allah for being my guide in this journey. By His devine grace,I have represented the good people of Sagnarigu constituency for three consecutive terms as their Member of Parliament and I am eternally grateful to Him.

Relatively, former finance minister, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor has finally spoken after the National Democratic Congress (NDC) organized a peaceful primaries in which John Mahama was elected as the flagbearer.
Prior to the NDC primaries, Dr. Duffuor pulled out of the Presidential race noting his decision was based on his complaints about the procedures surrounding the party’s upcoming primaries, particularly the voters register.
After the news that Dr. Kwabena Duffuor was no longer going to contest with Mahama and Kojo Bonsu before the Primaries on Saturday, 13th May, 2023, there were rumours that the former governor of the Bank of Ghana would bow out of the NDC and form his own party.
Well, Dr. Duffuor has responded to the rumour by setting the records straight in an official statement sighted by InsightNewsgh.com on his Twitter page.
According to him, he has become aware of some concern from some NDC high rank that he intends to quit the party and set to form his own independent party.
