According to Stand up comedian Kojo PJay the art of comedy is a gift although it can also be learnt.

Kojo PJay was a guest on Halifax Ansah-Addo’s Best Entertainment on Okay earlier on today to talk more about his upcoming Stand up comedy dubbed ‘Outside the box’ showing this Saturday, May 13, 2023.

During the discussion, the comedian revealed that people who identify comedy as gift do better than those who just learnt the art.

According to him, people who are blessed with the gift of comedy easily find humor around everything that happens.

He explained that just as a gifted musician doesn’t struggle to produce good music, comedians also craft something funny around trending issues to make people laugh.

Sharing an incident that happened while on a trotro bus from 37 Military hospital to Tema, he said a deaf and dumb lady gave him an envelope to support her financially.

According to him, he gave back the envelope to the lady but also pulled out an envelope with the inscription ‘support the broke boys foundation. No amount is too small ‘

The lady who claimed to be deaf and dumb after reading whispered to him that ‘indeed Ghana is hard. His story erupted laughter from the studio.

In a related news, Foster Romanus has explained why the Nyansapo Drama Group decided to stage a play titled ‘Father Bernard.’

Recall a viral video clip of a woman throwing her face flat on the casket of the late Parish Priest’s grave pit with a scream “eiii Father Bernard” made her internet sensation.

Comedian Foster Romanus and his crew decided to stage a play about the life of Father Bernard and why the woman decided to throw herself into the grave pit.

Speaking on Best Entertainment Show with Halifax Ansah-Addo, the musician stated emphatically that the play is not intended to make mockery of the late Father Bernard or his personality or family.
