Controversial Gospel musician, Broda Sammy appeared as of one the guests on United Showbiz on UTV last Saturday to redeem his image after Arnold Asamoah Baidoo roasted him on the show a week ago.
Broda Sammy came under fire from entertainment critic Arnold Asamoah Baidoo for his inappropriate publicity stunts to promote his upcoming gospel event.
Before the release of his most recent album, Brother Sammy encouraged sexily endowed women to twerk as a publicity stunt to draw attention to the event.
For the umpteenth time, Brother Sammy has garnered attention for his awkward approach to courting influence.
His publicity stunt for his event has caused outrage among some Ghanaians and business leaders, who have denounced the stunt.
In a debate on UTV’s showbiz night, Brother Sammy defended his justification for using such videos to win souls to Christ rather than tempt them.
According to him, the lady didn’t twerk to invite pastors or believers to his program but the people of her kind.
Broda Sammy explained that sometimes God uses people who have had some bad experiences in the world to win people in the world to his Kingdom and lady did nothing wrong.
He further said, he was disappointed to see Arnold sit on national TV and insulting him and described the act as ‘foolishness.’
According to Sammy, the best thing Arnold should have done after the viral video of the lady twerking to invite people to church did not sit well with him was to call him and talk to him in private but for him to sit on national TV and insult him then they are all ‘fools.’
The Gospel singer revealed that his wife and children were also affected by the insults of Arnold, adding that his wife was in tears when she also saw the video of Arnold insults on UTV.
