Manchester City has become a threat to Manchester United’s success in recent years because of the funds they have had since the Saudi’s took over.
One of Erik ten Hag’s visions for the Red Devils is to restore the club back to it’s glory days – winning big trophies like the Premier League and Champions League but he can’t do that with these current players.

To make this vision come to pass, ten Hag has said that he would need a lot of funds to buy the right players to be able to compete with big clubs both in England and Europe.
According to him, even though Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the world, the club still needs enough funds to bring in top players.
The Dutchman further added that he needs to strengthen his squad when the transfer window officially opens in July.
“Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world. Funds are needed to complete for biggest trophies, Everyone knows that it takes funds to sign top players”. “We have to strengthen the squad during transfer windows,” Erik ten Hag said.
As to whether there will be enough funds for the manger this summer, it depends on the Glazers who are increasingly becoming annoying in the face of all Man United fans worldwide.
Their reluctance to facilitate the sale of the club soon enough for the new owners to start plans for the next season has got Manchester United fans angry and agitated.

Several reports suggest that the Glazers plan to sell the club to Sir Jim Ratcliffe, owner of INEOS – who wants to buy only 50% of the Glazer family’s shares and still leave them 20% shares in the club.
However, a large number of Man United fans want the club sold to Sheikh Jassim bin Hamas Al Thani of Qatar who wants a 100% take over and ready to invest heavily in the club and restore it back to the glory days.
