According to Ghanaian performer Feli Nuna, Musician Fuse ODG signed her to his Off Da Ground record label primarily for the “hype” and “show off.”
In response to Fuse ODG’s assertions that she was impatient while working for the label, Feli argued that Fuse had broken the terms of their contract.
“At this point I believe Fuse ODG signed me to his label for hype. Just for show. He wasn’t ready to do the work. I really had high hopes. Fuse disappointed me, to be honest,” she tweeted.

Fuse disappointed me tbh.— Miss Nu. (@FeliNuna) April 24, 2023
Feli Nuna claims that in 2020, almost two years after becoming independent, she received two record deals offers; “one from an American Record Label based in New York for $135,000 plus incentives; and OFF DA GROUND for no money(but a good percentage of splits of revenue and masters).”
She continued by saying that she selected ODG due to her friendship with him and his artistic accomplishments.
“More over I was convinced by the songs we had started recording since 2019.
I believed that with hard work and dedication we were going to make way more than what was offered me in the US deal,” she noted.
I’m in my big girl pants era enjoying my peace of mind and regaining my mental health and this vawulence found me. Oh Gawd! 🤦🏾♀️

Additionally, Feli stated that she joined the Off Da Ground record label in 2020 in order to grow her brand and earn money. But things did not turn out the way she had hoped.
“Unfortunately my full time career was treated like a part-time hobby. No accountability. Bare minimum effort. After several appeals both personally and officially nothing changed,” the ‘Towel’ singer wrote.
She added that she declined to extend her two-year contract with ODG after it expired in 2022 because she was given “an un-encouraging amount for the production and promotion” of her upcoming project, “Big Girl Pants.”
Feli went on to say that the label’s commitment and effectiveness were scant, and that she was due more for her labor of love.
Despite all these difficulties, she endured the torturous two-year term of the contract, but eventually her patience ran out.
“They were giving me bare minimum. I work too hard. I deserve more,” she stated.
The singer and rapper also noted that she was patient while she endured “the excruciating term of the 2 year contract amidst all these challenges.”
If for anything at all I was tooooo patient for enduring the excruciating term of the 2 year contract amidst all these challenges.
And yeah you would never have guessed because I wear it well.
I don’t look like what I’ve been through.

Fuse ODG recently admitted in an interview with 3FM that he had not stopped working with Feli but thought she could be more patient in order to advance with his label. He counseled being patient while pushing through obstacles because one cannot expect immediate results within a year.
Feli Nuna put out music while she was at Off Da Ground, including “Anadwo” and “Towel.”
