    Less than a day after the rapper challenged Shatta Wale to a boxing match at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Shatta Wale responded to Sarkodie.

    Only if a $2 million winning prize was at stake did the dancehall musician agree to take part in the fight.

    After attending some boxing matches hosted by Max Boxing Promotions at the boxing arena, Sarkodie issued this challenge to his rival.

    The “Non-Living Thing” rapper expressed his happiness to be present and made a commitment to come back to watch more fights in the future when asked for his assessment of what he had seen so far.

    His challenge to Shatta Wale, however, was what really got people’s attention.

    The request from a Twitter fan was brought to Shatta Wale’s attention by his rival.

    The self-proclaimed “King of African Dancehall” replied that he was more than willing to fight Sarkodie and prove who was the better fighter.

    “The way ago beat am erh !!! He go tink say me I born am,” he responded

    Shatta Wale has set one important requirement for this boxing match, though: the winning prize must be a mind-blowing $2 million.

    “I Am down but make them put $ 2 million as winning price… If they make ready with the money make them call me !!,” he added.

    Fans and critics alike have been very interested in and divided over Shatta Wale’s challenge, with some praising him and others questioning whether he is sincere about it.

    If the two musicians do enter the ring together, it will be interesting to see how this story progresses.

    Watch the video below;

    Sarkodie may be joking about the whole thing but Shatta Wale who’s a business minded musician will see this as an opportunity to cash out some money from his brand.

    In other news, recent claims by musician Kay Smooth that he introduced Shatta Wale to the late Terry Bonchaka, whom Shatta has credited with inspiring his music career, have shaken the Ghanaian music industry.

    Kay Smooth argued that Shatta Wale should always be grateful to him for connecting him with Terry Bonchaka in an interview on Power FM’s entertainment show.

    Although Shatta Wale has not yet addressed Kay Smooth’s allegations, this information has sparked a discussion among followers and business insiders about who should be given credit for Shatta Wale’s success.
