Agya Koo, a well-known comedian in Kumawood, has refuted assertions made by Kwesi Bediako, a man claiming to be his biological father.
The aforementioned man, Mr. Kwesi Bediako, recently granted an interview and claimed that the Kumawood actor is his biological son, whom he has been looking for since birth.
He claims that he wants to make amends with his son, who he hasn’t seen in a very long time.
Agya Koo, however, has broken the silence and stated that he has never met and is unaware of any such man.
The actor denied the allegations in an interview with Radio Universe, calling them untrue and asserting that the man in question and the interviewer concocted this story for their own benefit.
“Heed not to him, he is lying. I will soon address the public properly, I know him from nowhere. It is an orchestration by some people”
“I won’t lie, I’m telling you the truth. It happened some four years ago when a woman also claimed to be my mother, how did it end? he quizzed.
However, Agya Koo has urged the public to disregard the man’s claims, calling them unfounded.
In a related news, Ghanaian celebrities have come under fire from George Quaye for their apathetic and complacent response to actions that endanger their reputation and way of life.
In an interview with Daybreak Hitz, he expressed his dissatisfaction, saying that these celebrities do not succeed in discouraging imposters from using their fame to make money.
When the Food and Drug Authority (FDA) and the Gaming Commission forbade Ghanaian celebrities from promoting alcoholic beverages and sports betting, respectively, Quaye gave an example of how they did nothing.
He added that these celebrities appear careless and lazy when it comes to protecting their reputation and earnings.
“I think Ghanaian artists are lazy when it comes to some things. They are lazy when it comes to things that destroy their brands or take food out of their mouths.
