Twene Jonas, a Ghanaian social media commentator based in the US, has disproved reports that he was shot and killed in New York City by an unidentified gang.
A TikTok user going by the name Nana Agyemang declared the vocal socialite dead. She was well-known for ruthlessly criticizing prominent Ghanaian public figures, including politicians, celebrities, and pastors.
In a video he shared honoring Twene Jonas, the account’s anonymous manager claims that the internet personality was killed on Tuesday, April 3, 2023.
Because of his persistent criticism of prominent Ghanaians, it is thought that Jonas may have been a target for murder, and a hit has now been made on him.
Twene Jonas has responded to the hoax and made his first public appearance after being falsely reported dead for weeks.
The well-known political critic vehemently denied the reports of his demise while speaking on camera in a self-made video on the streets of New York.
Twene Jonas claimed in the video that his social media silence was due to a trip to the Bahamas.
Later, he hurled harsh insults at the TikToker who had posted the false news of his passing on his TikTok page first.
