For the past three weeks one topic has been trending and has become a subject of discussion especially among Christian folks is whether a born again believer should listen to a secular song or not.

This topic went viral after veteran Gospel musician now a pastor, Moses OK claimed that is very wrong for a Christian to listen to  secular songs.

According to him, a Christian has no business listening to secular music because such songs will have a negative impact on their spiritual life.

However, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, a well-known gospel music group encouraged Christians to listen to secular music.

Moses OK’s assertions were refuted by Mrs. Edna Sarpong, a member of the gospel trio.

According to Edna, some secular songs can compel the Christian to do the right thing after listening. She added such songs do not make the Christian a non-believer just because he or she listens to them.

Following this, Prophet Kofi Oduro of Alabaster Church International, criticized those supporting the claim that a Christian can listen to secular music.

Kofi Oduro descended on them heavily and stated that he doesn’t listen to secular music for counsel.

According to him, if Christians continue to listen to secular music then they are putting Christianity in jeopardy for the next ten years to come.

Prophet Kumchacha reacting to Kofi Oduro’s claim criticized the controversial man of God.

Speaking on Best Entertainment Show with Halifax Ansah-Addo on Okay FM, Kumchacha also called out Prophet Oduro for wearing women’s dress during his preaching.

According to him, the likes of Ras Kuuku, Kwabena Kwabena and other notable secular musicians have songs that give good counsel, wisdom that everyone can listen including Christian to help live a better life.

Kumchacha without miming words stated that Prophet Oduro is one of the hypocrite pastors in the country who is always hiding his dark side but attack others for expressing their desire for something.
