Former General Secretary of the Peoples National Convention (PNC) Bernard Mornah has taken swipe at Bryan Acheampong over his ‘we won’t hand over power’ statement while addressing some NPP faithfuls over the weekend.
Mr. Bryan Acheampong has been trending in the media since Saturday, April 8, 2023 following his comments that the ruling NPP government will never hand over power to the biggest opposition NDC.
Speaking in a panel discussion on TV3, Mr Bernard Mornah slammed the MP for Abetifi for voicing out such a treason comment in public without thinking of the consequences.
Adding to two scent to the ongoing saga, the Managing Partner of Ndaana Ghana Ltd said Bryan can’t subvert the will of Ghanaians should they do vote otherwise come 2024 elections.
According to him, once the people of through their vote determine if another party is fit to assume office and rule the nation, whether he likes it or not he can’t do anything about it.
“As to whether you will hand over power or not, it is the will of the people that determines if you are fit to be office or not,” he said.

“When the people vote and massively determine that you are not the one we want, and you come and say it won’t happen today or tomorrow, it will happen today and forever,” he added amid laughter.

Relatively, Ghanaian-US based social media personality, Kevin Taylor on Sunday, April 10 shared some documents relating to the American Military service of Member of Parliament for Abetifi, Bryan Acheampong.
Kevin Taylor published the documents which has since gone viral on social media he claimed to have received from the US military’s National Personnel Records Center (National Archives) through the Freedom of Information Act, FOIA on Facebook.
Some of the released information showed that the NPP MP served in the US Air Force for four years – between May 31, 2006 to March 1, 2009.
The Agric Minister was however, active from July 5, 2006 to September 12, 2006 the documented added.
