Kojo Antwi, a veteran and legend of Ghanaian Highlife music, has firmly stated that he doesn’t create music for the purpose of winning accolades.
The singer of “Dadie Anoma” claims that despite the importance of receiving recognition for one’s efforts, he is not a fan of receiving awards.
In an interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM, Kojo Antwi said, “The Grammys are in, and it’s nice that some people go and win it, but me as an artiste it’s not my thing.
Kojo Antwi, meanwhile, explained his reasons for not going to awards shows in an exclusive interview with Abeiku Santana on Atuu.
“I don’t go to award ceremonies because I don’t play my music to win an award and I hope people don’t misjudge me,” he stated.

Ahoufe Patri, real name Priscilla Opoku Agyemang, claimed in an interview with the Graphic Showbiz that she is aware she will look good in weave-ons, wigs, and other hairstyles but that she simply lacks the time to sit in a salon and have her hair done.
