Michael Afranie, a seasoned actor in Kumawood, has disclosed that he has 13 kids total, born to three different women.

During a private interview on the Delay Show, Afranie revealed the information.

Afranie denied having been able to construct a home when Delay questioned him about it during the interview.

He explained that he did not think building a house was worthwhile.

The seasoned actor emphasized the value of investing in people and stressed that they were more valuable than buildings.

He used the recent earthquakes in Turkey, which resulted in the destruction of numerous buildings, as an illustration of how unnecessary buildings are.

“Invest in humans because you can build a house and years later the house will be left in a deplorable state. I have seen many houses in Suame growing being left empty, nobody lives in them,” he said.

According to him, you will waste money building houses for your children to live in but when they grow up and get their own money they will leave and build their own homes.

To this, the veteran actor opined that he would rather invest in his children education than build houses for them.

He revealed that he has started building project but has stopped working on them to take care of his children need first.

Viewers responded in a variety of ways to Mr. Afranie’s point of view.

The show’s host, Delay, posted a sneak peek of the interview on her Twitter page, drawing a lot of interest from viewers. Many people commented on Afranie’s views in the section provided for that purpose.

Some agreed with him, saying that people should come first, but others objected, saying that constructing homes was essential for his children’s future.

The veteran from Kumawood spoke with Delay in an exclusive interview  on April 9, 2023, a Sunday.

Michael Afranie is not the only famous person from Ghana to admit they do not own a home. King Promise and Amerado, among others, have previously disclosed that they do not own homes.
