A lady who os yet to be fully identified has reacted after she was wrongly mistaken for Ghanaian actor Harold Damenyah’s wife in viral photos.
On April 1, 2023, Harold Amenyah and Irene Owusu, his longtime girlfriend, were married in the Eastern Region’s Peduase.
Several celebrities and the couple’s close friends attended the private traditional wedding ceremony.
Caroline Sampson, Kojo Soboh, and other celebrities who attended the event shared images and videos from the vibrant gathering on social media.
Following the release of the wedding photos, Irene was the target of vile remarks about her appearance on social media as trolls brutally mocked her.
These well-known trolls claim she’s not attractive and questioned why a handsome actor like Harold would pick a woman like Irene who doesn’t enhance his marital status.
Others defended her and insisted that she is a pretty lady as Irene was subjected to mockery and insults from all sides. They contend that the photo’s apparent unflattering portrayal of her is the result of the camera angle and lighting.
Fans of Irene who have been defending her on social media have shared her stunning photos to support their argument.
However, it appears those defending Irene shared wrong photos of her. The actually lady in most these viral photos of the actor’s wife are not her but a different woman.
The woman after sighting on the photos with wrong identity has finally broken her silence.
Taking to her Instagram page, she said woke up from bed only to find out she was trending in most blogs in Ghana.
According to her, she has not married any man from Ghana adding that she’s not the one in the viral photos.

Counselor Luterdot responded to the entire social media discussion by saying he agreed with those who thought she ought to have worn a different wig.
He claimed that the wig she picked out for the occasion foiled all of her attempts to look stunning and gave her an unsuitable appearance.
Counselor Lutterodt bluntly stated, “She did not choose the right hairstyle on the day,” during a conversation on Okay FM.
“Considering the shape of her face and nose, she could have opted for a more fitting wig. Not that I’m saying she’s not nice, but the hairstyle on the day was not perfect.”
“Harold Amenya’s wife should have considered the shape of her mouth and the size of his nose before wearing that wig.”
Speaking about his friends and enemies, who could work together to ruin someone’s wedding day appearance, also made him uncomfortable.
