Mzbel who has made a successful transition from Music to running Social commentary has clarified such talks of a rift between herself and Nana Tornado.
Mzbel herself fuelled rumors of a beef with the latter and interestingly both share a common nemesis in Afia Schwarzenegger as the trio used to be inseparable.
In a Facebook live with her followers, Mzbel clarified “Tonardo and I are still friends. People are misinterpreting the comments I made earlier. I granted an interview on Step One 1 TV sometime in December, following a less-than-stellar show at Afrochella”
She would continue by adding “I lost it during the interview and spoke inappropriately, but I quickly realised I didn’t speak well, so I wrote an apology post. And that interview even wasn’t directed at Tonardo so I’m surprised why people are trying to create that enmity between us based in the interview”
Mzbel would then express how proud she was of Nana Tornado for having handled the situation with aplomb and maturity and would later go on to council people on how to preserve their friendships as she has done “I’m so proud of Nana Tonardo for not making a deal out of this. When two people become friends, there is always a plot to destroy them. I’ll advise friends to avoid showcasing their lovely relationship on social media due to judgmental eyes. These people are quick to mislead their friends. I still consider Tonardo to be a friend”
Mzbel once upon a time was a bright music prospect who just never reached what potential people saw in her after she released ’16 years’ which to this very day is one of the biggest songs in Ghana.
