African music sensation David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has declared his marriage to Chioma Rowland.
In an interview with media personality Kiekie on March 29, the singer affirmed this. Davido claims that he stopped using social media after losing his son Ifeanyi because he needed time to grieve.
He eventually married Chioma during this time.
According to him, “I have never ever taken this kind of break. Just being away and I have had a lot to think about. It was a time to rest, reflect, a lot of family time, time to make music again.I remade the album. Before I went on the break I actually had an album already. Had a tour already, but we did the album, I travelled, I am married.”
Davido’s remarks are proof of an increasingly popular rumor: that the two are in fact a couple.
You may recall that pictures of them wearing “wedding rings” appeared online months ago, prompting many people to speculate as to whether or not they had become engaged.
Additionally, Pulse reported last year that Davido had suggested getting married to Chioma in 2023 after the two were spotted cuddling.
Pulse sends the Adelekes its heartfelt congratulations now that the good news is public.
