Coded, one-third of the famous Hiplife group 4X4 has served a note of caution to young artists as far as lavish spending is concerned
In a new interview, Coded has advised young artists who are still young and in their primes to make investments into little businesses as they would surely reap the benefits as they get older
According to Coded ‘I’d beg them to invest their money into some business. They should start up some cool, slow business on the side. I’d really beg them because they’re young and when they start the business so young, by the time they get to 35-4o, that business would be huge”
He continued by adding they should ‘invest in the most little thing, give it time and take your mind off it’
He also admitted he was envious whenever he sees this young ones starting something on their own “I’m envious of young guys in their 20’s that are doing business because by their 30’s, this businesses would be very huge, I’m saying this from a good business”
When asked an example of businesses these young guys could go into, he suggested “You can even open a small pub. There are millions of ideas that you can push your money into that you can make your family or somebody manage for you, that’s the only thing I have to say”
Coded would continue by stating he would have likely rubbished off any advise in this regard during his days of prime adding “I was in my prim, getting all the money; seeing all the money every weekend, playing shows, playing events”
Coded would then concede it was one of his regrets but was of the opinion “maybe this is the right time and perhaps, I needed to go through that process to get to this point”
