Ghanaian gospel singer Moses OK has revealed why he doesn’t encourage Christians to listen to secular songs as these songs would contaminate their spirituality.

In a new interview with Onua TV, Moses OK opined since these songs do not carry the word of God, it wasn’t a good part on the Christian to listen to such songs “You can’t listen to songs that do not carry the word of God, songs that don’t correspond with the scriptures. That’s why I don’t encourage people to listen to secular songs”

He would continue by adding ”You can’t listen to any song as a believer, emphasizes good Christians. I’m not talking about those who just call themselves Christians, I’m talking about those who have the spirit of God in them”

Moses OK concluded by adding “You have to listen to Gospel songs because whenever you consume music, the words come directly to your heart, which forms and frames your life. That’s the reason why God himself gave us his word, which is light onto our path”

Meanwhile, the Gospel singer revealed he was once a thief who stole for survival “I was staying with my grandmom and she was having a lot of children and grandsons. I knew God has called me but I was diverted because of friends and how the family was. So the kind of friends that I met at the time led me to steal, yes. I was stealing, those times when people park their cars then we go and steal from it. They had a certain name for me for doing that job. I go inside the car and steal money, mostly under the carpet of the driver. So, it got to a point where I became very skillful, to the extent that I was buying food without paying”
