Businessman Ernest Kobeah has ended his campaign to be the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) flagbearer.
This was announced on March 29, 2023, at the party’s Accra headquarters.
Mr. Kobeah said he entered the race to create opportunity and to set a positive example for the youth to follow and not to be intimidated in an interview on JoyNews earlier this month.
He underwent his vetting yesterday at the NDC Headquarters.

Ernest Kobeah was asked to come back today for the final lap after submitting his paperwork and other requirements.
However, the candidate withdrew from the race upon his return today.
Samuel Mbura of JoyNews claims that Mr. Kobeah made the choice because he wanted to support rival John Mahama.
