Philip Basoah, the Ashanti Region’s Kumawu constituency’s representative to parliament, has passed away.
According to reports, the MP running for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, early in the morning.
He passed away at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital at the age of 53.
He was born in Kumawu, Ashanti Region, on November 18, 1969.
At Cape Coast University, Philip Basoah earned a Bachelor of Education, and the Paris Graduate School of Management awarded him a Master’s degree.
From 2009 to 2012, he was the Projects Coordinator at the Ghana Education Service’s Ashanti Regional Division.
From June 2005 to January 2009, he served as the District Chief Executive for the Sekyere East District at the Ministry of Local Government.
