    Fred Nuamah, a well-known actor and film producer, has expressed concern over his three-day delay in submitting his nomination electronically.

    For the Ayawaso West Wuogon, Nuamah is running for a National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary seat. Constituency.

    On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, Mr. Nuamah said in a press release “For the past 72 hours, I have not been able to complete the filing of my nomination electronically, as well as make payment for the filing. All efforts have proven fruitless”.

    He said, “After May engagement of relevant personnel behind the party’s electronic platform, I found this to be another Machiavellian tactic to prevent me from successfully filing my nomination”.

    He continued by saying he had petitioned the relevant parties and hoped they would solve the issue right away.

    “In the meantime, I have presented my Manuel requirement to the election directorate to signify my submission while I await the online rectification”, he added.

    The National Democratic Congress (NDC)’spresidentialand parliamentary candidates had until Wednesday, March 22, 2023, to submit their nomination papers.

    According to the election schedule published by the party last month, prospective presidential and parliamentary candidates had until March 20 to 22 to turn in their completed nomination forms before the vetting process began on March 27–29.

    Before the election on May 13 there would also be a window for appeals on the results of the screening process from March 30 to April 6.
