Christian Atsu is finally going home today. The mortal remains of the late Black Stars player has arrived at the forecourt of the State House this morning for burial.
In a viral video sighted by InsightNewsgh.com, a long black hearse carried the body of late Atsu in a grand style to the forecourt of the State House where the funeral service is been held.
The public and family will given the opportunity to file past his remains and pay their last respect to Christian Atsu who was confirmed dead last month.
After the filling past and burial service, the mortal remains of the former Chelsea and Newcastle United winger will be laid to rest in his hometown, Dagobome.

On February 18, 2023, Atsu’s death was officially declared after his lifeless body was discovered after the earthquake in Turkey.

After the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria in mid-February, there had been days of active search.
Numerous people have sent their condolences to the football player’s family and loved ones as tributes have poured in from near and far.
At the Wireless Festival in Abu Dhabi, Ghanaian music superstar Black Sherif gave a touching performance in honor of the late Christian Atsu.
The 21-year-old singer was one of the artistes who performed at the concert on Saturday, 11th March at the Etihad Park, Yas Island.
Black Sgerif dedicated his performance to the late football player and sang “Songs of Freedom” by Bob Marley and the Wailers.
As he sang, pictures of Christian Atsu and messages honoring the late Black Stars winger appeared on the LED screen behind him.
