Christiana Awuni, famous Ghanaian actress has expressed her disinterest in getting married due to the stress it comes with and after a couple of unpleasant experiences.
The Kumawood actress believes marriage is no longer an interest of her following the traumatic experience she had thus deciding to remain single as she enjoys the independence that comes with being single
According to Christian Awuni who was speaking with fellow Kumawood actress Nayas, she has seen a lot of the marital woes both in personal and public sense thus informing her disinterest “The issues I had in marriage…I have seen lots of problems in marriage. I don’t know if pastors will pray for me. I do not know, but I am no more interested.”
The actress who is 50 revealed although she has no house, she is satisfied with her privacy and the peace of mind that comes with independence.
Christian Awuni revealed her previous husband literally followed her wherever she went as he wanted to know whatever she was up to thus affording her little space to herself with the workload of being a wife overly excessive for her “I have not built a house, and I am okay. I don’t want problems. I married for the second time and the man wanted to take me to work. He wanted to be with me everywhere I go to know everything I am involved in.”
Christian Awuni is one of the prominent names and face of the Ghanaian movie industry and was during a time rumoured to be involved in an intimate relationship with the late Bernard Nyarko who also was one of the famous faces of Kumawood industry at the time until his unfortunate demise
