According to the announcement made by his family, the late former Ghanaian international Christian Atsu will be buried in Dogobome.
The funeral services for Atsu will take place on March 17 at the State House’s forecourt in Accra, according to information provided by his family.
There will also be a filing past, before the mortal remains of the former Chelsea and Newcastle United winger will be laid to rest in his hometown.

On February 18, 2023, Atsu’s death was officially declared after his lifeless body was discovered after the earthquake in Turkey.
After the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria in mid-February, there had been days of active search.
Numerous people have sent their condolences to the football player’s family and loved ones as tributes have poured in from near and far.
At the Wireless Festival in Abu Dhabi, Ghanaian music superstar Black Sherif gave a touching performance in honor of the late Christian Atsu.
The 21-year-old singer was one of the artistes who performed at the concert on Saturday, 11th March at the Etihad Park, Yas Island.
Black Sgerif dedicated his performance to the late football player and sang “Songs of Freedom” by Bob Marley and the Wailers.
As he sang, pictures of Christian Atsu and messages honoring the late Black Stars winger appeared on the LED screen behind him.
