Mr. Mahama announced his intention to run for president of the NDC at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), noting among other things that he will address the party’s delegates, “in all humility, and in response to calls from my party and the generality of the people of Ghana, to offer myself, to serve this country and its people that I love so dearly.”
Mahama asserts that he has no doubt about the size of the task ahead as he attempts to lead the NDC to victory in the 2024 elections, “owing to the level of damage done to our country by this government.”
The John Mahama Campaign will move on from the Bono East Region to the Bono and Ahafo’s regions.
